L'ALIMENTATION
Dans la nature l'écureil est omnivore, il peut même manger des cervelles d'oisillons. Il a une préférence pour les noix et de noisettes. Il affectionne aussi certains fruits frais, comme les pommes, les poires...
En captivité son alimentation est surtout composée de :
- 40% de graines de tournesol,
- 20% de graines de blé,
- 5% de fruits et légumes désséchés,baies,
- 10% de chanvre,
- 25% de flocons (mais,avoine,...)
Et biensûr de l'eau !
